The Chamber recognizes several members throughout the year for various accomplishments.

Recognition includes:

Small Business of the Year Award

Annually, this award honors an outstanding small business that has made a significant long-term contribution to the local community and economy. Previous winners.

Kay Machula Ambassador Award

Founded in 2012, this award honors an Ambassador who goes above and beyond to promote the Chamber as an ambassador of the organization. The award is named for Ambassador Kay Machula who has devoted 20+ years to the Chamber as a volunteer Ambassador.

Chamber Champion Award

This is awarded to members of the Chamber who continuously go above and beyond and contribute to the Chamber with their time, talent or with financial contributions beyond their membership dues.


The ATHENA Award is given to an individual who strives towards the highest levels of professional accomplishment – women and men who excel in their chosen fields, have devoted time and energy to their community in meaningful ways and who actively guide or mentor women to become great leaders. The Young Professional Athena Award honors emerging leaders who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment.

Top Investors

Chamber members who contribute to the Chamber at specific monetary levels are recognized throughout the year as the Chamber Top Investors.

Exceptional Employee of the Month

The Exceptional Employee of the Month program was designed to recognize employees who serve the local business community in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude. Winners receive a plaque from Awards Ltd. or Trophy Time, a $50 gift card to LongHorn Steakhouse and recognition on a variety of platforms used by the Chamber.
