Energy Co-Op
By harnessing the power of "bulk" purchasing, the Chamber energy cooperative provides Chamber members with long term budget stability and eliminates the volatility of the market for companies. The cooperative program allows us to obtain better electricity and natural gas prices collectively than any one company can do individually.
Our partnership with Fighting Illini Energy allows Chamber members to immediately start saving money on electricity while waiting for the next Chamber cooperative round to start. Short term contracts are available now with special pricing for Chamber members. If your company executes a price saving contract now (through September 2012) you will be then placed into a cooperative in September 2012 that pools all of the short term contract holders together. This will enable your company to receive even better electricity pricing through December 2105. Your transition from your short term contract to your cooperative contract will be seamless.
Ameren customers and customers with third party suppliers can participate in this program. Our program can offer a future start date which will help you lock in savings through 2015 without breaking your current contract. Please complete the application form and return it to the Chamber. A representative from Fighting Illini Energy will follow up with you directly.
